Recent Rock Stabilisation Works completed at Les Val de Terres, St Peter Port, Guernsey

 

NSP Civil Engineering Ltd were contracted by the Agriculture, Countryside and Land Management Services for 6 weeks starting in November 2017 to undertake a slope stabilisation project in sections of Les Val de Terres.

Approximately 500m2 of slope was cleared of vegetation, and rock netting, rock bolts and cables were installed to ensure the safety of those using the area below.

The works were completed in budget and on time, which was a crucial element of this project as Les Val des Terres is a major thoroughfare on the island.
